industryFuture Fisherman Foundation Appoints New Executive DirectorDec 19, 2007 - Source: Fishing WorldAnne Danielski has been appointed as the new executive director of The Future Fisherman Foundation, based in Alexandria, VA. Danielski first joined the foundation in 2006 as National Program Coordinator. Prior to joining the foundation, Danielski was the education specialist for the Pennsylvania Sea Grant Program. Danielski has already implemented several programs designed to get youth involved in fishing, including Hooked on Fishing Not On Drugs (in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Justice) and a Youth Fishing Tournament in partnership with the Bassmaster Elite series Capital Clash tournament. "Fishing is an ideal way to reconnect our youth and their families with nature. We will make it our focus to develop more opportunities for young people to fish and continue to make conservation and responsible angling a part of every student's course of study," said Danielski. |
