Orvis To Open First Oregon Location

Orvis has announced plans to open its first Oregon store in Bend in the fall of 2008. Orvis has over 60 retail locations in the United States, with only five located on the West Coast.

Orvis stores sell fly fishing and hunting gear, as well as apparel, furniture, and dog products. The Bend location will offer Fly Tying, Fly Fishing, and Wing Shooting classes. The store also acts as a travel agent for sports-oriented vacations world-wide.
